CONTEST RULES

Article 1 – Organizer

KAPLA France sarl, a limited liability company registered with the [city] Commercial Register under number [number], with its principal place of business located at [address], is organizing a free contest with no purchase necessary titled “The Great KAPLA Challenge” (hereinafter “the Contest”).

Article 2 – Purpose of the Contest

The Contest consists of building a structure using KAPLA blocks inside a participating store, photographing it, and then submitting that photo to enter a contest decided by public vote.

Article 3 – Conditions of Participation

The Contest is open to children under the age of 16 who reside in France, Belgium, or Germany.

Participation is free and requires no purchase.

A minor’s participation is subject to prior authorization from their legal guardian.

Each participant may submit only one entry throughout the duration of the Contest.

The structure must be built exclusively using KAPLA blocks and must be built by the child themselves.

The photograph must be taken in a participating partner store.

Any entry that is incomplete, does not comply with these terms and conditions, or is fraudulent will be considered void.

Article 4 – Rules for Participation

To participate, the contestant must build a structure using KAPLA blocks at a participating store, take a photograph of their creation, and then submit that photograph using the designated method, specifically via a QR code that links to an online form.

The Contest runs from September 1 through September 30, inclusive. Any entries submitted after this date will not be considered.

Article 5 – Selection of Winners

Eligible entries will be posted online and submitted to a public vote.

The three participants with the most votes will be declared winners.

The organizer reserves the right to verify the validity of votes and to invalidate any entry or vote deemed fraudulent or non-compliant.

The organizer also reserves the right not to award a prize if the entries received do not meet the expected quality standards.

Article 6 – Prizes

Each winner will receive a prize consisting of a pack of 1,000 KAPLA blocks along with promotional items.

The approximate retail value of the prizes may be specified by the organizer.

Prizes are neither exchangeable, refundable, nor convertible to cash.

They are final and cannot be contested.

Article 7 – Announcement of Winners

The winners will be announced at the end of October on KAPLA’s communication channels, including its website and social media.

Winners will be contacted via the contact information provided at the time of entry, through their legal guardian.

Article 8 – Image Rights

As part of the Contest, parental consent is required for the capture and use of participants’ images.

Participants, through their legal representative, authorize the organizer to use, reproduce, and distribute the photographs submitted as part of the Contest on any communication platform—including social media, the website, and any promotional material—for a period of [to be specified] and worldwide.

Article 9 – Personal Data

The personal data collected as part of the Contest is necessary for managing participation, selecting winners, and awarding prizes.

This data is intended exclusively for the organizer and is retained for a limited period.

In accordance with applicable regulations regarding the protection of personal data, each participant, through their legal representative, has the right to access, correct, and delete data concerning them.

Article 10 – Liability

The organizer shall not be held liable in the event of technical malfunctions, network issues, data loss, or any other difficulties that prevent the Contest from proceeding smoothly.

The organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, shorten, or cancel the Contest if circumstances so require, without incurring any liability.

Article 11 – Acceptance of the Rules

Participation in the Contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules.

The rules are available online and may be provided to anyone who requests them.

Article 12 – Governing Law

These rules are governed by French law.

Any dispute regarding their interpretation or application shall be submitted to the competent courts.
